It’s no surprise that Kate Upton would the star of a road-trip sex comedy. But it is a surprise that William H. Macy would be the guy directing it. Aside from the mustache, he seems like a man of discriminating taste. So what the hell is going on with The Layover?
Upton will team up with Alexandra Daddario as best friends who “decide to avoid their problems by taking a vacation, only to find that their plane has been rerouted due to a hurricane warning..”
So help me God, this better be rated R. Also, it better be a lot better than what I’ve just described.
I guess time will tell if the Kate Upton is actually a not-terrible actor, or if William H. Macy is just making a terrible decision by involving himself in this. Let’s start taking bets.
